LionVolt is a deep-tech startup working on a revolutionary battery using a 3D anode architecture that will boost battery performance, and by doing so bring an important contribution to achieving global net zero goals. A step change in battery performance is in high demand from our application markets, and our architecture boosts energy density and charging rates without compromising safety and duration/life.
Our multinational and highly diverse team consists of 40 people across multiple locations. Our innovation centre is based at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, a leading European innovation hub, and we have a cell manufacturing facility in Scotland. In addition, we are expanding our manufacturing capacity with a new production line at the Brainport Industries Campus (BIC) in Eindhoven, giving us everything we need to realise our innovation. To support this exciting next step, we are looking for an production lead to take charge of our brand new production location.
Role overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated senior electrolyte team lead for our 3D batteries at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven. The senior electrolyte team lead will spearhead the development and optimization of liquid/hybrid electrolytes for Li metal batteries, leveraging his/her extensive industry experience to drive innovation and guide internal research team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of electrolyte chemistry, strong problem-solving skills, and a proven track record in managing R&D projects and teams. Additionally, they will bring a well-established network within the Li metal start-up community, facilitating collaborations and staying ahead of emerging industry trends. Their leadership will be key in aligning the company’s research direction with its long-term product and market goals.
