Salvia BioElectronics is a medical device company pioneering neuromodulation therapies for migraine. Salvia's unique, paper-thin implant is designed to reduce the frequency and intensity of migraine attacks by delivering gentle electrical pulses to the nerves associated with the condition. The company is currently in the clinical stage of development. In addition, Salvia is considering potential opportunities the device creates for the treatment of cluster headache and other neurological disorders. Salvia has received the Breakthrough Device Designation from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which facilitates expedited market access for devices that treat life-threatening or irreversibly debilitating conditions.  

The challenge 

We offer a challenging position for a supply chain planner. You ensure a smooth planning process across the supply chain from shopfloor up to our customers, and from our suppliers to our finished goods inventory. You ensure that the planning is aligned and communicated with all relevant stakeholders inside Salvia and with our OEM suppliers. You take into account all relevant constraints like lead-time, production capacity, expiry dates, required training level, etc. You minimize the impact of operational issues by adapting the plan accordingly. You are part of a small but growing operations team. 

Responsibilities 

• Production planning of materials, equipment and people from daily operations to a yearly operations plan. Taking into account all constraints like component lead times, training, shelf life, maintenance, etc. 
• Detailed production planning with multiple OEM suppliers, incl. managing of critical components at suppliers. 
• Prepare Demand & Operations planning. Aligning plan with relevant stakeholders within the organization (clinical, development) and our inhouse manufacturing and outsourced manufacturing partners. 
• Equipment planning: corrective & preventive maintenance, internal & external calibration, infrastructure (cleanroom). 
• Integrating inhouse production plans, OEM plans, equipment plans in a master production schedule. 
• Implement tools like LDMS, Visual Management, Lean, and improve current Excel planning tools where possible  

YOUR PROFILE 

• Minimum Higher Vocation Education degree (HBO) 
• Operations mindset, getting things done, daily management 
• 5+ years working experience in planning  
• Strong communication skills, common sense 
• Experience and affinity with lean planning tools in excel 
• Enjoying the puzzle of making a planning work
