Responsibilities:

  • Responding to all IT needs (Office VoIP, Internet, Network, computer hardware/software support etc.) including preventative maintenance.
  • Communication Devices and Procedures: Ensure that the office is provided with procedures that enable users to simply and speedily report problems to the support team.
  • Responding to the inquiries and assisting customers to select the right products based on their use case
  • Will need to work with customers and internal global teams in different time zones
  • Winning new business is essential to the future success of the Company and the Sr. Operations Director is a key member of the team providing innovative service solutions, assist in developing the business, including high-level networking and representing the company from a Technical/Operational perspective, which may include attendance at relevant industry events.
  • Maintain a good knowledge of the market, Company product market positions and technology. Advise senior management of relevant development. Identify/evaluate/liaise with potential business technology partners.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate system for measuring necessary aspects of operational management and development. Ensure best management practice is followed.
  • Monitor performance (in relevant areas) according to agreed standards and take necessary action to communicate/advise/assist. Introduce new KPIs as appropriate.
  • Attend regular meetings with senior management. Ensure escalation procedures are up to date, understood and agreed. Sustain an excellent personal professional relationship with those personnel requiring interaction under the terms of our contracts.
  • Adhere to all published company policies, procedures and business ethics.
  • Performs other duties as directed by senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an IS related field or related field required with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Thorough understanding of technical or scientific products to be sold.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Travel to meet with clients or potential clients will be required.
  • Dutch speaker

Physical Attributes:

Function holder’s minimum physical attributes should include:

· Independent mobility throughout work locations, and ability to move unaided from one working level to another, ability to access, unaided, all installed equipment locations, including working at height, when required

· Visual acuity – ability to interpret and operate computer screens and read/write relevant documentation, without the need for special accommodation (large print, Braille, voice assisted computer system, or dictation equipment).

· Ability to carry tools, test equipment and replacement equipment (up to 30 lbs) independently and unaided.

· Ability to drive standard vehicles without any requirement for modified controls.
