Fe+male Tech Heroes June Meetup
Voices that deserve to be heard. Stories that create momentum.
On June 9th, the next Fe+male Tech Heroes Meetup brings together a community of women in tech, their allies, and professionals who value real conversations and shared experiences. This edition puts a spotlight on something many recognize but rarely name out loud: overthinking in high-performance environments.
In a world where speed and certainty are often rewarded, reflection and doubt can easily be seen as a weakness. But what if they are not? What if they are part of how better decisions, stronger leadership, and real impact are created? Through honest conversations and fresh perspectives, we explore how overthinking can shift from something that holds you back to something that moves you forward.
A space for people shaping the future of tech, not by fitting in, but by showing up as they are.
Fe+male Tech Heroes. Impossible to ignore.

The workshop
In fast-paced tech environments, confidence, speed, and decisiveness are often seen as the gold standard. Meanwhile, reflection, hesitation, and inner dialogue are quickly labelled as insecurity, especially in women. Yet research and experience show something very different: people do not overthink because they are weak, but because they care, think deeply, and take responsibility seriously.
The problem is not worrying. The problem is pointless worrying.
In this interactive workshop, based on the book Tobwijven!, overthinking is reframed as a cognitive strength and turned into focus, clarity, and leadership impact.
Based on research among more than 400 professionals and real-life leadership cases, participants will explore:
- What overthinking really is in high-performance work environments
- The five most common professional worry themes among women and men
- Why doubt often increases in demanding, high-expectation cultures
- How to shift from mental overload to decisive, value-driven action
This is not a women-only problem story. The workshop resonates with leaders, professionals, and teams of all genders and creates connection by giving language to what often remains invisible.
