Machine learning is as valuable as the problems it solves. With this first introduction course in cooperation with AI Innovation Center and Ipsumio, we aim to provide the power of this tool to professionals dealing with important problems in healthcare, physics, manufacturing and many others. This is a non-technical course for domain experts to get a high-level understanding of this technology.

No experience with ML is needed for this course!

This course is aimed at people who would like to know what machine learning (ML) is and what its implications are for their domain. We explore the basic working principles of this technology, components of an ML project and possible challenges in implementing ML models, supported by real-life ML application examples.

After this course, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize projects where machine learning can be helpful.
  • Evaluate proposals related to machine learning.
  • Communicate with machine learning engineers and data scientists.

Bring your questions!

This is a free course in which Alican Noyan (Founder of Ipsumio) will introduce you to the potential that ML can have on your field of expertise. We only ask two simple things in return: active participation and feedback on the course content so we can improve for the next edition.

Program

15:00 – 16:00 Introduction to Machine Learning – Alican Noyan

16:00 – 17:00 Questions and discussion

THIS COURSE IS A 100% LIVE EVENT and takes place in the AI Innovation Center (HTC5). For practical reasons and in order to finetune the content, we would like you to sign (and show) up and provide us your field of expertise in the form.
