What are we looking for?

Within the Campus Site Management team (about 40 people), pride prevails on the Campus. Proud of the residents of the Campus who come up with the most beautiful new technologies, proud of the beautiful and pleasant working environment we offer these residents and proud of the high-end research facilities we offer to facilitate these researchers. The operations team on the Campus has the task of providing the right facilities to the Campus residents. As a result, there is a continuous flow of renovation and new construction projects on the Campus with a very large diversity. 

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and pragmatic with a strong ownership mentality. Technically well-versed, good at organizing, positively critical and enjoying working with tenants and contractors.

What are you going to contribute?

A large site with about 60 buildings and many users ensures that there is a continuous flow of adjustments. The project portfolio under your care is mainly focused on buildings, building-related installations and technical infrastructure. The projects are driven by the strong growth of the campus through new construction, modifications to existing buildings, major maintenance projects and modifications in the context of our sustainability objectives. Projects up to an investment value of approximately 500 k€ come under your responsibility with the possibility to grow towards increasingly larger and more complex projects.

As a Junior Project Manager, you will be part of the operations team of the HTCE Site Management and you will report directly to the Director of Operations. You will work alongside an experienced project manager and together with a number of specialists in the field of management and maintenance. There will also be close cooperation with the commercial team and support in the form of purchasing, finance and legal.

Your background

• A completed education in architecture, installation technology, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
• HBO/WO working and thinking level with at least 5 years of relevant work experience Experience with Capex projects in the built environment as a project manager or ready to make the step to project manager.
• You have a representative and service-oriented appearance and attitude.
• Communicative skills in both Dutch and English
• In possession of a VCA certificate or willing to obtain it
