Team Dynamics Coach

As a Team Dynamics Coach, you help founders build aligned, high-performing, and resilient teams from day one, preventing conflicts, strengthening collaboration, and laying the foundation for sustainable growth and real-world impact. 

Who you are 

You bring deep expertise in team dynamics, coaching, and conflict management, helping teams navigate both the emotional and operational challenges of building a company from scratch. You act as a trusted partner to founders and leadership teams, shaping culture, guiding decision-making, and sustaining performance during periods of uncertainty and rapid change. 

You have experience applying and discussing assessment tools (Facet5 preferred) to support team formation, leadership development, and conflict resolution. You combine strategic insight with a hands-on, people-first approach, ensuring both individual growth and organizational success. 

Experience & Background 

You have a background in organizational psychology, coaching (with recognized certification), team facilitation, leadership development, or related fields, with approximately 10 years of relevant experience, including: 

• Familiarity with team dynamics models (e.g. Tuckman, Lencioni, Belbin) 

• Cross-team communication and collaboration 

• High-performance team development 

• Coaching leaders and teams in startup environments 

• Conflict prevention and resolution 

• Experience with assessments and behavioral insights 

• Culture building from zero to scale 

• Building and supporting founding teams 

What you will do 

• You will lead one-on-one team coaching sessions, supporting and guiding teams through the different phases of the HTXL Venture Builder Program. 

• You will also work with portfolio ventures who have completed the program but continue to require support as they scale and evolve. 

• You will organize and participate in plenary/group workshops, providing co-founders with hands-on tools and advice on how to build strong teams and become high-performing organizations. 

• You will review and provide feedback on deliverables, ensuring teams are progressing in the right direction and thereby supporting the HighTechXL Program Team by providing your input on investment decisions.
