Project Coordinator Human Capital (0,8-1 fte)

18 March 2025

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, expertly juggling multiple tasks and small projects while keeping the bigger picture in mind? Are you proactive, energetic, and passionate about supporting others to ensure successful project execution? PhotonDelta is seeking your project coordination expertise to drive talent growth and accelerate the photonic chip industry.

About PhotonDelta

PhotonDelta is a growth accelerator for the photonic chip industry. Photonic chips, or Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs), use photons instead of electrons to sense, process, and transmit data with unmatched speed and energy efficiency. These revolutionary technologies address critical global challenges, from energy reduction in data centres to cost-effective disease monitoring and sustainable agriculture.

Our mission goes beyond technology—we are fostering a thriving ecosystem of top talent to secure the industry’s future.

About the role

The photonic chip industry’s growth depends on attracting and developing the right talent, and that’s where you come in. As a Project Coordinator Human Capital, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Human Capital team to meet the needs of both the industry and talent. Your main responsibility is to ensure smooth project execution by managing tasks, maintaining structure, and keeping everything on track.

Working closely with project managers and the programme director, you will oversee multiple sub-projects and coordinate across various stakeholders, handling planning, administration, and execution. Your organisational skills and proactive nature will ensure that deadlines are met and projects progress smoothly.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support team members in executing projects by managing sub-projects and tasks, handling planning, coordination, and follow-ups.
  • Manage weekly administrative tasks, such as monitoring the Human Capital email inbox and overseeing collaborations with student associations.
  • Prepare communications and follow up with external stakeholders.
  • Maintain project documentation, budget administration, and reporting, ensuring all involved parties are informed of progress and milestones.

You will work with:

  • The fun and friendly PhotonDelta team
  • Students and educational institutions
  • Various partners in our ecosystem
  • The PhotonDelta Human Capital team consisting of the Programme Director and 3 Project Managers

What we are looking for:

  • A quick thinker and fast worker who can easily switch between projects and tasks and adapt to new priorities.
  • A proactive problem-solver, always striving to improve processes and workflows.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality reports, stakeholder support, and project execution.
  • A collaborative team player who thinks from the perspective of others—whether team members, partners, or students.
  • Strong organisational skills, ensuring clear oversight of tasks, deadlines, and priorities, and acting when needed (e.g., taking notes during meetings, scheduling reviews, preparing updates).

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • 3-5 years of experience in project coordination.
  • A completed bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Affinity for marketing and/or talent development, with a genuine interest in contributing to the team’s mission.
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English.
  • Availability to work 32 to 40 hours per week.

What we offer:

  • A key role in a dynamic organisation with a global impact.
  • Personalised professional development through training and workshops.
  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • At least 37 vacation days (25 days + 12 ADV).
  • Flexible working arrangements between home and our office at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven.
  • A supportive, collaborative team ready to help you tackle any challenge!
