The challenge 

As Salvia BioElectronics continues to grow, we are looking for a proactive and skilled Information Technology (IT) Specialist to strengthen our team. You will play a key role in ensuring that our IT infrastructure is secure, efficient, and aligned with the stringent regulatory requirements of the medical device industry. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, purpose-driven company at the forefront of neuromodulation technology. You will be the go-to person for day-to-day IT support, systems administration, and infrastructure management, while also helping us stay compliant with data protection and quality standards critical to our success. 

Responsibilities 

  • Maintaining Salvia’s IT infrastructure 
  • First-line set-up and troubleshooting of infrastructure hardware (laptops, desktops) 
  • Assure Salvia’s IT infrastructure complies with the information-security and data-security regulations and standards (GDPR, ISO27001, etc) 
  • System administration and first line support of Salvia’s enterprise applications, such as electronic Quality Management System and Enterprise Resource Planning) 
  • Drive and support validation of software used in regulated processes 
  • Support the creation and maintenance of internal IT policies, procedures, and best practices. 
  • Coordinate with external IT service providers and manage software licenses, contracts, and renewals. 
  • Depending on certification act as Data Protection Officer for Salvia BioElectronics 

Your profile

  • Completed Bachelor level ICT focused education (e.g. Network & Security Engineering)5+ years' experience in providing hands-on IT support service in Medical Device industry 
  • 5+ years' experience maintaining and supporting Microsoft 365 infrastructure (including SharePoint, OneDrive), VPN, NAS. 
  • Experience with validation of software, including User Requirements, User Acceptance Testing and validation documentation is a plus 
  • Knowledge of / experience with SalesForce platforms is a plus 
  • Knowledge of / experience with ERP systems is a plus 
  • Specialized knowledge of regulations and practices regarding data protection is a plus 
  • Experience as Data Protection Officer is a plus 
  • Certified in Data Protection aspects through e.g. IAPP, NOREA, CIPM, CIPP/E is a plus 
  • Experience in the life science sector is a plus.
