DATA SCIENTIST 
 

What will you do? 

• Develop and implement data models to extract actionable insights from large volumes of photonics sensor data.  
• Collaborate with engineers and domain experts inside and outside the organization to identify key process parameters and develop predictive models for process optimization. 
• Analyze time-series data to uncover trends, patterns and anomalies that impact operational efficiency in the process industries. 
• Design, develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure clean, structured and accessible data for real-time analysis. 
• Apply machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques to build predictive maintenance models and anomaly detection systems.  
• Provide data-driven insights to the team for product improvements. 
• Communicate findings to stakeholders through visualizations, reports and presentations. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field. 
• 3+ years of experience in a Data Science position. Experience within a high-tech or process industry is a plus. 
• Proficient in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, JavaScript, R, SAS or SQL.  
• Familiar with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, Kafka, etc. 
• Familiar with cloud services such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud. 
• Familiar with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch etc. 
• Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
• Professional proficiency in English, both verbally and written. 

• Residency in or nearby Eindhoven.

About Senergetics 

Established in March 2022 by Anitha and Frank Jacobs, Senergetics is on a mission to revolutionize industrial practices, prioritizing asset health management for safety, sustainability, and efficiency. Inspired by sensing technology, we're tackling energy spillage and corrosion under insulation (CUI) in the process industry.
