Internship description

The HSE department is responsible for all HSE matters within SMART Photonics. This is a broad playing field with many disciplines: exposure assessments, CE machine safety, chemistry, use of hazardous gases and work permits, training and education programs etc. Focus can be on RI&E related to psychosocial workload, validation of work equipment or use of chemical substances.

During this internship, you will mostly evaluate and develop our safety processes, in subjects as:

• Machine safety;
• Explosion safety;
• Exhaust conditions;
• Risk assessments;
• Personal protective Equipment;
• CE Process machine safety and legislation;
• Dutch ARBO law.

Requirements

The team is looking for the following candidate:

• HBO student in integral safety;
• Has a strong interest in industrial safety;
• Has great communication skills, both in English and Dutch, verbally and written;
• Has experience in Microsoft Office;
• Has great organization and teamwork skills.

The team is looking for an intern who is interested to join SMART Photonics for 6 months, 5 days per week and at least 2 days on-site.
