Vention is located at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven and specializes in developing connected solutions that positively impact people's lives. We are a close-knit and fast-growing team with expertise in digital product development, electronics, and software. At Vention, we develop products and solutions for our clients, working closely with them to turn their ideas into physical products. We design and produce most products from start to finish, focusing on relevant markets such as energy transition, personal healthcare, and digitization of the agricultural sector.

Why this position?

As a Business Controller, you will be responsible for managing all financial and administrative processes within Vention Technologies. You will be part of the Management Team and report directly to the General Director. Your role involves providing accurate financial information to steer the company financially and serving as a sparring partner for the rest of the Management Team, offering advice when needed.

Additionally, you will contribute to a rapidly changing and growing organization that develops and delivers products alongside executing projects. Depending on your ambition and experience, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to various aspects of the business. You will lead the financial administrative staff (1.1 FTE) and maintain relationships with external parties such as the accountant, bank, and tax authorities. Your responsibilities will include ensuring adequate financial administration, contributing to pricing policies for our products and services, implementing internal control systems, invoicing for delivered services and products, managing accounts receivable, preparing budgets, preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports, and creating various analyses and reports.

Who are you?

• You're a financial professional who is business-oriented, collaborative, and:
• You have previous experience in a similar position, such as a business controller, or you're ready for the next step.
• You have at least a bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of relevant work experience.
• Preferably, you have experience in tech/SaaS companies or served similar clients in accountancy.
• As an MT member, you're confident and adept at navigating the dynamics of a rapidly growing organization.
• You're proficient in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written, and have strong communication skills.
• In short, you're a builder and a doer with brains.
