Job summary:

VitalFluid is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager to lead our hardware and software development teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both hardware and software engineering, with proven leadership experience. This role involves overseeing the design, development, and implementation of innovative hardware and software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of hardware and software engineers.
  • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, focussing on driving well engineered solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Ensure the integration of hardware and software components to meet product specifications.
  • Implement best practices for Agile development, CI/CD, and project management.
  • Support deployed units in the field, responding to issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in hardware and software technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in hardware and software development.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role, managing engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of hardware design, embedded systems, and software development.
  • Proficiency with Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with hardware-software integration and system validation.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with field service support and IoT technology
