GMP Cleanroom Facility
The Smart BioMaterials Consortium (SBMC) operates a state-of-the-art cleanroom facility designed to support the development and production of biomaterial-based therapies, medical devices, and combination products. The facility enables companies to manufacture under regulated conditions without the need to build and maintain their own GMP infrastructure.
The cleanroom suite consists of four independent cleanrooms that comply with GMP Class C and ISO 6/7 standards. These controlled environments are designed to minimize contamination risks and ensure consistent product quality. The facility supports activities such as biomaterial processing, medical device assembly, and early-stage GMP manufacturing for clinical applications.
