Spectral IQ is developing the next generation of non-invasive sensing infrastructure for life sciences and bioprocessing.
Today, critical R&D decisions are still made using sparsely sampled and partially observed biological systems. As AI-driven drug development accelerates and pressure for capital-efficient R&D increases, continuous and reliable experimental data will become essential.
Our mission is to enable this transition through scalable optical sensing systems that integrate directly into OEM laboratory equipment , delivering continuous monitoring without disrupting existing workflows.
To accelerate our commercial growth, we are looking for a Co-Founder with strong industry experience and an established network in biotech, pharma, laboratory equipment, or bioprocessing markets.

The Role

As a Co-Founder, you will lead the commercial strategy and market development of Spectral IQ.
You will work alongside the technical founding team to transform breakthrough sensing technology into a scalable business with strong market adoption.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Defining and executing the go-to-market strategy
• Developing relationships with biotech, pharma, and research organizations
• Leading customer discovery and commercial validation
• Identifying early customers and pilot opportunities
• Supporting fundraising and investor engagement

This is a true founder-level role with significant equity participation and direct influence on the strategic direction of the company.

We are seeking an entrepreneurial leader who understands how to navigate scientific and deep-tech markets.

Strong network within:

• Pharma and biotech companies
• Laboratory equipment OEMs
• Research institutes
• Venture capital and innovation ecosystems

Experience in:

• Business development
• Strategic partnerships
• Startup scaling or venture building
• Ability to communicate complex technology in a clear commercial narrative
• Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on execution capabilities
