Data Scientist

What will you do?

• Develop and apply machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques to build predictive maintenance models and anomaly detection systems.
• Analyze time-series data to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies that impact operational efficiency in the process industries.
• Collaborate with engineers and domain experts inside and outside the organization to identify key process parameters and develop predictive models for process optimization.
• Integrate and maintain the solution into data pipelines to ensure clean, structured, and accessible data for daily analysis.
• Provide data-driven insights to the team for product improvements.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders through visualizations, reports, and presentations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or related experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a Data Science position. Experience within a high-tech or process industry is a plus.
• Proficient programming skills in Python and SQL, or similar experience in other languages.
• Familiar with technologies such as Dagster, MLflow, Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, Kafka, etc.
• Familiar with cloud services such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Familiar with ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Professional proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Residency in or near Eindhoven.
