Kinetiq offers companies and their brands the possibility to monitor their presence on television channels worldwide as well as on Social platforms. Not only in paid advertisements, but also on other occasions like tv-shows or the news, using watermarking, fingerprinting, spoken word and logo-detection. To expand our services further from television channels to online tv channels and social media channels, we are looking for new talent in our office in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

About the role

You will be part of our Operations team in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. You will be responsible for
monitoring and maintaining our worldwide Watermarking & Fingerprinting platform and its channels (3500+ tv and radio channels and 2500+ online social media channels)
You will work closely with our Operations teams in the US and India.
You are available to work 40 hours per week. Working from home can be discussed.
Residing in Eindhoven area and own a valid EU-working permit and a valid driver license.

What Will You Do?

  • Monitoring and maintenance of 3500+ tv and radio channels and 2500+ online channels, via monitoring systems and visual inspections
  • Monitoring and maintenance of our Watermarking and Fingerprinting platform, with over 100+ smaller locations worldwide that host equipment (servers, switches) for these systems locally.
  • Provide support by solving issues in both the Watermarking & Fingerprinting platform and television and online channels
  • Installation of hardware and software for adding new television, radio and online channels on request of customers.
  • Improve and maintain our current monitoring systems for broadcast and online channels
  • Participate in a 24/7 on call support rotation schedule.

Key Skills Required

  • Your thinking level is MBO and you have a technical affinity.
  • You have an interest in the technical aspect of television and radio channels, video and audio in general and online platforms like Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok.
  • You have an interest in tv receivers, satellite dishes and reception methods like DVB-C, DVB-S, DVB-T and OTT platforms (like Netflix, Viaplay, Youtube)
  • You have an excellent knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written
  • You own good computer operating skills, are a fast learner and able to work in a fast
    moving environment
  • You are a socially driven, energetic team player who can communicate effectively and
    efficiently, and able to supply- as well as respect feedback from others
  • You are very accurate and have an eye for detail
  • In possession of a driver license and a car, so it’s possible to come to the office during 24/7 duty (approx. 1 week 24/7 duty per 5 weeks)

Additional Skills

  • TV/Broadcast knowledge (DVB/MPEG) is an advantage
  • Basic networking knowledge is an advantage
