Signify extends presence of Headquarters and R&D at High Tech Campus Eindhoven

Signify, the global leader in lighting, has reaffirmed its long-term commitment to High Tech Campus Eindhoven (HTCE) by securing the Campus as the strategic homebase of its global headquarters and R&D activities. Signify’s continued presence at HTCE reflects the company’s commitment to the Brainport Eindhoven region, in the form of a new long-term lease agreement for its main location in HTC 48, along with extended R&D operations in HTC7 and HTC 26.

Vital contributor to the ecosystem

Signify’s renewed commitment is a clear signal of Brainport Eindhoven’s strength as a global tech region and aligns with the ambitions of the “Beethoven Deal,” a €2.5 billion investment in infrastructure, talent and innovation, aimed at accelerating the growth of Brainport Eindhoven.

Otto van den Boogaard, CEO High Tech Campus Eindhoven: “We are proud to continue facilitating Signify at HTCE. Their renewed commitment confirms the strategic value of the Campus within the Dutch technology landscape. Signify is a valued resident and a vital contributor to our ecosystem. Their EMC testing lab, used for lighting, medical, semiconductor and RF systems, is an essential part of our innovation infrastructure.”

“Our extended presence at HTCE underscores our strong connection to the Brainport region and our ambition to lead global lighting innovations. With deep roots in Eindhoven, remains this most innovative technology region of Europe the natural home for Signify and our R&D activities. A place where cutting-edge technology, collaboration, and innovation come together,” says Hellen van der Plas, President Signify Netherlands.
